How do you send a single email or automated journey?

Mailchimp offers automation features that allow you to send a single email or start a journey when someone is added to your audience, groups or tags or field updates. This is ideal for sending customer journeys, welcome emails or similar messages.

To add a person to an audience from Salesforce, you could use our data wizard or an invocable action for instant updates. Field updates can be sent instantly to existing members via our field mappings .

Traditional transactional emails (receipts, etc) in Mailchimp are sent via a different platform, Mandrill. Currently, we do not integrate with Mandrill. As an alternative, you can use Salesforce's own email tools to send transactional emails directly.
